Rhiannon Ally: We all know the find the perfect gift is an ongoing challenge. So what better way to give something special then do make it yourself? Jodi Kahn, author of Simply Sublime Gifts right here is here she is going to show us some of the great things she has here in the book that are easy and also budget friendly, I love this because there are all levels here there are some that are little more difficult, and some that are really easy.

Jodi Kahn: That's right there are plenty of super easy gifts in the book, some of them that require no selling at all.

Rhiannon Ally: So it's great.

Jodi Kahn: So anybody can make these, absolutely.

Rhiannon Ally: Okay so show us some of it, first one is a little bit tricky right.

Jodi Kahn: No, no, no this is a - this is one of my favorite projects.

Rhiannon Ally: It just looks like it took a lot of work.

Jodi Kahn: That right, that's the idea. This is one of my favorite projects in the book it's called a handy hand towel and it looks like it's been silk screened and decorated, but it's very simple all it is you scan a piece of wrapping paper on to a T-shirt transfer, you slice that transfer into the border size you want and you iron it on, I mean you can make these in 30 minutes they are my favorite hostess go to gift I'd love these for hostess presents and just really for anybody.

Rhiannon Ally: Yeah 30 minutes can be that. Now the next I would never guessed what this is actually made out.

Jodi Kahn: Yes, well one of the fun things in the book is I like to find ready, readily found objects easy to find objects.

Rhiannon Ally: And then turn them into gifts.

Jodi Kahn: And turn time into something else because than half the work is done for you so this is a pillowcase tote.

Rhiannon Ally: And look how cute that is.

Jodi Kahn: And it really its super sturdy and you know what happens is the seams on the sides and the bottoms are already done for you in the book we give you directions how to make the handles and it's very easy and you can make it using the stuff you have around the house.

Rhiannon Ally: I love that one, okay.

Jodi Kahn: That's good.

Rhiannon Ally: The next one I want to go this. This is one of my favorites, isn't this adorable? Look at this, how did you do this?

Jodi Kahn: Okay, this is probably the easiest project in the book.

Rhiannon Ally: By the way, this is not; an actual stick on paint, its on the shirt.

Jodi Kahn: It's right, this is probably the easiest project in the book they are called funzy onesies this is a hello my name is onesie and all you do for this I got some of these hello my name is name badge stickers I scanned it in may computer on to T-Shirt transfers for dark T-Shirt paper because they are kind of make like a decal like this. You write the name on the badge first you scan it in your --

Rhiannon Ally: And then iron it on all like.

Jodi Kahn: So these are - these really are one of my favorite projects. They are cupcake pin cushions, people are cupcake crazy these days and so if you do so it's a great pin cushion if you don't so and you just love cupcakes it's a great thing to stick on your shelf they look especially real because they are put into real silicon cupcake minors and these are addictive to make no calorie so that's.
