How to Make Tuna Salad

We spent just about $15, and this is a good tuna salad that’s going to last you from
Sunday to Thursday. Open up these three cans of tuna, and this is white albacore tuna in
the water. Maybe you're thinking tuna is kind of really a lunch food but I have to disagree
with you. Tuna can be used for a lot of different things, and kind of just break up these
chunks here.

Add a tablespoon of mayo, about a tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Now, I like my tuna to
be sweet. You can find this sweet relish stuff in the same section on the grocery store as
the pickles. This is a very scientific opening part. Put a tablespoon, somebody take like
three stalks of celery here, grind, diced and thin. Okay, I think they will only this too
actually. I cut them really loose chop here.

This is a Granny Smith apple. It’s really tart, and that’s why I'm using this apple versus a
red apple or any like Fuji apple. This is going to add a little bit of a tang. Impress your
friends if you don’t know how to make a tuna salad, and they’ll be like, “My god, I
always go and just buy it and costs for $8.99.” And you’ll be like, “Well, I made a huge
thing of it and I only spent a little bit more than you.” They’ll say, “Economy Bites,
www.economybites.tv.”

You slice this and you dice this. So, if I was coming home from where, I probably had a
salad for lunch or something equally as boring. And, I would either cut up some lettuce
and some tomatoes and make myself another salad if I was trying to be really healthy, I
would get some yummy cheddar cheese with some good bread and make myself a tuna
melt. I would heat up some penne pasta and mix this tuna in, cover it with some cheese,
and make some tuna in the casserole. If you don’t want to eat it for dinner, take a tuna for
lunch.

Now, we’re going to go for the red onion. Do it a really fine dice. You don’t want to be
the girl who cooks tuna in the work kitchen or the guy. It is cool to be the girl who brings
that lunch. When people are going out and paying $8.99 for a salad, you can go like, “I've
brought my own tuna.” We’re going to mix and taste.

Hmm, that’s really good! I think it needs a little black pepper, of course some salt.
Delicious! That was so easy, and it costs $16 to make. Even if you were going to add
cheese or bread or pasta, this dish would still cost somewhere between $20 to $25, which
is very little for something that you're going to eat from Sunday to Thursday. Thanks for
