How to Make Strawberry Ice Cubes

When you’re expecting company for drinks, you’re probably like me and you want to make things just a little bit extra special. And one really easy and nutritious way to do that is by making strawberry ice cubes. Yeah, you can use other foods but the strawberry just looks so pretty.

The recipe just calls for two cups of sliced strawberries, a third of cup of sugar, ½ cup of water and a teaspoon or tablespoon really to your taste of lemon juice. So what we do is we just we get our ingredients all together and here you could use one of those pre-package lemon juices. But I think it is always nicest when you go from scratch then we are going to put all of these ingredients into a blender. Because it is going to be puree before it goes into the ice cube trays.

So in go our two cups of sliced strawberries or lemon juice and the 3rd of a cup of sugar, ½ cup of water. And of course our angels kissing the spring – imagine how pretty these are going to look in a white wine or perhaps a glass of champagne. Let’s puree it so when it is pureed enough when you feel like it is perfectly blended. It is time to put into your ice cube tray. Now as you can see you can ad extra sizzle by buying a themed ice cube tray and in this case we got hearts. So let’s fill up the ice cube tray right to the top and then imagine this little heart shapes in your drink later.

Now remember to prepare this at least four hours before your company comes because that is how long it takes to freeze. They looked to be ready, now it is a matter of popping them out of the tray and the cropping up of absolutely perfectly. Just look at these – they are beautiful. So now all you got to need is one in each glass and isn’t that pretty, does it dress up a drink. Now you are ready for company – I know I am ready.
