How to make Split-Screen Videos with Sony Vegas Pro
You’ve been asking me how to make like split-screen the videos with drums and guitar like you can record or something guitar song and also show—or record you’re playing a drum and—so I’m going to be using some of the latest pro so here we go.
First that you’re going to do, you’re going to need the capture card footage. And so what you’re going, run the input media. You’re going to drag the capture footage in here. So just like that, like that and then, we’re going to drag your video. So, what you need to do to do that is you need to have another separate video camera and the cord that you’re playing and also record at the footage. So you got your capture footage already here. Now, you’re going to take your footage of your hands or whatever. You’re going to import it. I’ll just take it—I’ll just take my Livin’ on a Prayer—so I'm going to drag this down here. Alright, so you’re going to have your capture footage up here and your hands up here.
So, what you’re going to do now is you’re going to go to one of the—it doesn’t really matter and you’re going to go to track motion and there you can decide—see, if we take a look at the preview, you decide where it goes so it can make this smaller. You’re going to put it up to make this smaller. And put it up here or you can put this back to normal. Put this back to normal and go to your capture footage or your hands view—
Alright guys, I think you’re going to have to do this. If you want to put the hands view up in the top, maybe you just want to do this—exit and then—and put this in a small box somewhere up on the screen, it doesn’t matter. Just put it up here. Then go back to your capture footage and go to track motion and then turn this back to—so it could be like that and you can put stuff here and there or you can switch the videos to do it in a different way. So, you could put your captured footage here or you could put your hands view there and you could put your captured footage there so now boom! Here we go. You’re hand view is there and your capture footage is there. And the same applies with the drum thing. So there we go. That’s how to do split-screen videos. And to go to YouTube, just go to—and then just share in there save. Alright, so I’ll see you guys.
