Jennifer Perkins: Carve your Jack O Lantern and looking like your neighbors, will it’s time to buzz up the bling and make your pumpkin that envy of your neighborhood. We are going to use powering clay to create some cool 3D effects on your pumpkin. Now, powering clay we get it in the crafts store and it comes in a Brazilian different colors. Over here we’ve got, just the few to show you. I’ve got some orange that are already been working with, trick of powering clay is you need to condition it a little bit. Which just basically means you are molding it with your fingers lots n lots; I’m going to make some lists. So, what I’m going to do is rolling up into a snake and I’m going to make some lips. So, I’m going to set it down and squeeze it together so were already looking kind of lavish, give it a little bow in the lips and smooth it out. Over here I have bunch of different smoothing and shaping tool, this one is going to be a nice little line and I’m going to make another little edge for my lips. Use the side to smooth it down a little bit and there we go pretty lavish if I do say saw my self. The next thing we’re going to do is we are going to use a little dough, we cut it down into a little chunks and what I’m going to do is I’m going to flip my lips over and then I’m just going to stick this little short piece of cut dough right into the back. Then I put my piece of clay onto a cookie sheet and then I’ll bake it according to the manufactures instruction, every kind of powering clay is a little different so just read the package on that. And then when it’s all done comes out to the oven it is hard as a little rock and it’s looks something like the pretty little blue eyes, very cute and you can see it’s cut a little dull in the back. And now what are these for you acting for yourself? They are to decorate our cute little few pumpkin here, what I did is I got a little started just to kind a break through the top surface and then poke my dough in the rest of the way. And you can change that; you can switch it up and make your pumpkin look any which way you want. Now, I use the false pumpkin for this but need less to say you could of course use your real pumpkin if you want it too. And the other cool things about this powering clay parts is you can just chunk in the door and you have already for actual for next years Halloween.
