Hi! This is Sandy with Afloral and we’re going to talk about Pew Decorations. Let me give you a little money saving tip. Let’s make some pew decorations that we can then use at the reception and that way, you have a decoration for the pew and for your reception table.
I have three calla lilies. If you’re carrying a calla lily bouquet or this is your theme, why not take three calla lilies. I have a little bear grass, its one of my favorites and put those together. We’ll use a little tape to hold them in place and tape it together. Remember to stretch that tape and hold the tape still, twist your flowers, and bend them out. And here’s something fun about this bear grass. If you brought a scissors or your nail around it, you can make it curved and look very soft. So you do that with a few pieces and remember if you do it a lot, you’ll get a lot of curl. If you do it a little, you’ll get a soft wave.
And then you can take a little ribbon and use this to tie it onto the pew. Twist the ribbon around where you’ve wire everything together. And won’t that be beautiful on your pews? You can do every other or every other third or fourth pew and then when you’re ready to leave then church, have someone collect this. Have some vases at your reception. You can slide this right into the vase and you have a beautiful table decoration as well as pew decoration.
Here we have three carnations and a stem of ivy, depending on what your theme is. We’ve got a little tooling and our bow, we’re going to wrap that right around all three pieces. Pull it tight in the back, twist it on tight, and look how beautiful that will look on your pew. And again, a vase at the reception, slide it in, you’ve got to hold the decoration for your reception table and something for the pews. Money saving tips from Afloral.
