Thanks for stopping by I’m Chef Billy Parisi and you’re watching Fix my Recipe on wsoctv.com, our new meal solution recipe brought to you by Lowes is a wonderful Mustard Encrusted Salmon with a tomato salad right on the side. The first thing we need to do is spread this prepared mustard all over our salmon.
Next, we’re going to slice a lemon in half, squeeze the lemon juice on the salmon and we’re finishing with a little garlic powder and a pinch of black pepper. And you know what it is great two nights outside, I’m not standing here, we are going outside we’re going to grill this salmon.
At this point we are going to go ahead and spray the top with a little bit of vegetables spray so it does not stick to our grill. Two things one we didn’t’ use any salt and two the skin is still on, not only is the skin going to provide a ton of natural salts its also going to allow our salmon to stay intact so it does not fall apart on our grill.
A one pound salmon is going to take roughly 12 to 15 minutes on medium high heat. All right we are back inside and you know what I would grill all your long if I could. Let’s go ahead and finish this dish by slicing up an in-season ripe tomato with some slice red onion, we’re going to drizzle some extra-virgin olive oil right on top, finish it with some salt and pepper.
The flavors of the salmon are absolutely incredible and not only is it tasty, it’s also very nutritious and for all your busy families out there you saw how easy this came together.
