Oh boy, these are so delicious. Actually, I wish I had used more codfish. I’m using two point seven ounces to just to illustrate how it’s done. The other point I want to make right now is if you’re going to be using Scotch Bonnet Pepper, be sure to use gloves in holding the pepper while you’re cutting it okay.
As you can see I use four potatoes here and I cooked the potatoes with the codfish, you may you want to cut the potatoes even smaller because that way it will cook a lot faster and quite frankly, you wanted to cook fast because you want to get on with it. The other ingredients you’re going to need of course is about a tablespoon of butter and an egg.
At the risk of being redundant, let me say again use some gloves when using Scotch Bonnet Pepper, it is very hot. After your potatoes all cooked, of course you want to drain it off, just like that and then you want to crush your potatoes. But of course, you want to shred your codfish because you’re going to be mixing that with the mash potatoes, mix in your finely chopped peppers, your butter and your beaten eggs into your mixture and then you want to for little balls, just like these. If your potato dough is not firm enough, then add enough flour to make sure that is firm enough to form little balls, okay?
Keep your eye in these little babies now and turn them off and then cook them well and then of course enjoy.
