1 cup bran 1 cup buttermilk ⅓ cup butter ½ c brown sugar 2 Tbsp honey 1 egg 1 cup AP flour 2 tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt
Method:
Pre-heat oven to 375ºF Soak bran in buttermilk. Cream together butter and sugar, then beat in honey and egg. Mix in the bran that's been soaking in the buttermilk. Mix together the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet - and mix just until moist. Don't over mix!
