Okay, let’s get started on these delicious rolls.

Alright, in a large bowl, you want to add your flour. That’s just regular, all-purpose flour. Just put it in a bowl.

Next, we’re going to add in a pack of an Active Dry Yeast. Just sprinkle that in there just like that.

And next you want to take a spoon or whisk and just kind of give it a good stir to get it all combined.

Okay. In a saucepan over medium heat, you want to add in your milk. Spread it all in there.

Next, we’re going to sprinkle in some sugar, regular white sugar. We’ll just give that a stir until the sugar dissolved.

And next, we’re going to put in some shortening. Now, I suggest using the butter shortening instead of this kind, the plain shortening. That was the only kind I had so—

Now, you want a bowl of this. You just want to heat this up just until the shortening dissolves until it melts. So, just keep stirring it constantly until it melts.

Alright, next you want to add that warm milk mixture into your flour mixture. Pour all of it in there.

And next, we’re going to add in our egg, one egg and we’re just going to take our hand mixer. We’re going to mix it on low for one minute and then we’re going to mix it on high for three minutes.

Okay. Now that we have it mixed well, we’re just going to add in the rest of the flour and I have mixed in my salt with the flour. And we’re just going to take our hands and just kind of ball it into like a soft ball form. And you can also use a spatula, one of those Rubbermaid spatulas if you’re not feeling getting your nails dirt and things like that.

I’m just keeping folding it, keep folding it and eventually, a nice soft ball will form.

Alright next you want to take a ball and you just want to grease it with some vegetable oil. It’s perfect oil.

You get it nice and greased up and you don’t have to use a really big bowl like I’m using. I just don’t find my other bowl so you want a bowl that has a lid on it.

So, when you get your bowl nice and greased up, you want to put the ball of dough inside of it and you want to cover it up and we’re going to put it in the fridge for two hours, at least two hours. You can leave them there for up to two days but we’re just going to do two hours. Just cover it up, put it in the fridge.

Okay. It’s been two hours. Our dough has doubled in size. You just got to take our fist and just kind of punch it down getting some of the air out of it.

Alright, now we’re going to take some melted butter and just kind of put it in the bottom of a pan, just a nice, thin-layered. This is where we’re going to lay our rolls on so that I have nice buttery tasting bottom.

Alright so ball these rolls. You can really put them at any kind of shape you want them to because it makes a round ball or you can twist it up until some little cute will shape. The way I do mine, I just balled one in and I balled the other in, you know, just kind of ball those two together like that.

And you want to get some butter on there and you can dip the dough in butter. You can use your hands to spread it on there, a brush. Just get some butter on. Put some on it. Put it nice and buttered up.

Just put them in the pan. You can put them pretty close together.

Okay. When your rolls have all been placed in the pan, you just got to take a kitchen cloth and just cover it and let it set like that for about n hour to two hour and a half. This is going to help it double in size. You have nice, and light, and fluffy.

Okay. The rolls have doubled as you can see. Now, it’s time to cook these bad boys. You just got to place them in the oven for 10 to 14 minutes. Keep an eye low every ten minutes just until they’re nice and golden.

The rolls are ready. They look freaking delicious.

So now, you want to brush them with some butter. As soon as they come out the oven, you can pour a little honey butter in it. Put some herbs in it. This is just you highly want to seed enough these things. You want it plain like that.

Just put some butter on them and you are al set. Enjoy.
