For this project, you’ll be cutting pages out of construction paper. Begin with the first page. To make opening in your pages, bend the paper without folding it, and cut a small slit. This becomes the starting pint for the rest of your opening.
When you’ve finished the first page hold it and the second page together and cut the shape of the second page. Cut the shape of the third page while holding it together with the second page. Repeat this process for all of your pages.
To give your fun book a little more structure, you may want the last page to be a full sheet of construction paper. To bind your book, staple a quarter of an inch away from the edge of your book. To make a fancier book, punch holes in your pages and tie them together with ribbon.
