You and I together, get in here and see if we can't make a home made fortune cookie. Now, I’ve taken two egg whites and I have beat them with a little high end electric mixer until they are foamy. We’re going to add a half of cup of all purpose flour that has sifted. So, just right in the egg whites they go and then I’m going to add a half of cup of an extra fun sugar. I’m going to add one teaspoon of one of my favorite flavoring and that’s almond. So, I can't wait to see how these are going to turn out.
We’re going to thin our butter up a little bit by adding two tablespoons of water. Now, we’re going to take our bacon pan and I have lined it with some seal path which works so great for thin crisp cookies. And I’m only going to be able to make about three of this at the time because when you fold them up and they cool, they immediately get crisp—we’re going to take our butter. It will be about a four-inch circle of butter. So, we are going to put this in a 400-degree oven now and we’re going to let this bake for about eight minutes.
Nobody is more excited than me to see if this is going to work. Now, I’ve got our little fortunes over here. I’m going to work rather quickly and we just kind of fold that up. I think, you might be owned to something so—let’s pull out my fortune, sudden bells ring louder.
