Female: We can’t have a tailgating party without some kind of chicken Male: No we can’t. You know there’s a lot of barbecue sauces here in the South and the popular sauce is the red sauce, which we’re going to do; start with ketchup. So we need about a cup of ketchup. Female: Alright so we’re alike on that Male: Okay and we’re alike on this too, brown sugar Female: Yeah, I love the sweet Male: Yeah, now I’m going to make (voice overlap) Female: Some of my chicken might stick in there; quarter of a cup Male: Quarter of a cup, Female: I’m going to pack it. Male: And what really good is this good flavor, I love the brown sugar and some fresh orange juice. We’re going to do about two tablespoons of fresh squeezed orange juice, that is about two right there, don’t they? This is a juicy orange. Female: yeah, I think its juicy orange. Male: And this is what gives all the flavor I could cook it outside, this is an artificial smoked flavor. So you’ll never do it in the oven, it’ll smell like Hickory chips. Quarter of a teaspoons so you don’t need a lot of that, that’s powerful stuff, you can mess things out there. Female: Okay. Male: So the next thing that we’re going to do is a half teaspoon of dry mustard Female: okay, great Male: And this cayenne’s a little warm so first we’re going to use a quarter of a teaspoon of cayenne. We’re going to need a teaspoon of Worcester. That’s it, it’s pretty simple. Female: Okay, don’t that looks delicious? Male: I’m going to whisk this up and give it a nice turn, we don’t want to hold back a third of the sauce now, and we’ll ladle this over right before it’s done. It’s good and it’s very simple too Female: I like that, I like orange juice. Male: And what kind of sets this apart is that it’s a no-cook, you know, cause the butter of few sauce that we used at the restaurant, you have to cook, and this is not, this is something that you’re able to do immediately right away. So we’re going to toss our chicken in the sauce. Female: Toss it, now have you a set of tongs Male: I could use the tongs Female: Here you go. Alright so you just come run your chicken around on that barbecue sauce Male: Yes, we’re going to get it all good and coated up Female: So you’re going to put that in the oven Male: 375 for 45 minutes Female: 375 for 45 minutes, great. Male: Like you said right here, this is the time we put in the Ziploc bag, pack it the cooler or ice and then whenever your grill’s ready, wherever you’re going just throw it on the grill just make sure you close the top, you know you’ll kind of cook it slow. Female: Yeah. Are you going to cover this or you’re going to cook it uncovered? Male: I’m going to cook it just like this, and right towards the end for about 20 minutes left and I’m going to put the rest of this sauce on it. And then that aren’t yet. Female: That really looks good; this is going to be sticky and sweet, looks great, oh yeah. Male: Isn’t that all great? It’s hot Female: Oh that really looks good. Male: Well, I want to have a bite of chicken before I have dessert anyway. With brown sugar and it cooks and it’s so sticky Female: Oh Jamie that’s very, very good; and almost as good lie you’ve cooked it on the grill. Male: Female: Male: Female: Male: Female: Male: Female: Male: Female: Male: Female: Male: Female: Male:
