Hi! I’m Sandy with Afloral. And are you’re planning on a Calla Lily wedding? Well, whatever flowers you decide on, whether you’re going to carry a hand tied bouquet or an arm bouquet, I have some ideas for pew decoration for you.
Whatever flowers you choose, make a small bouquet of two or three and tape that together. You can then attach this to our pew holder. It’s the plastic. It slides over the pew and to do that, you just hold the flowers up against it. There is a stake at the bottom, wrap your stems around that, and then I’m going to use a ribbon and there’s a little hole here you can slide your wire through, pull it to the other side and then twist it on tightly. This makes very easy pew decorating.
Afterwards, you can take this beautiful pew decoration off the pew and put it in a vase and use it on your table at your reception. In that way, you get two uses out of one decoration. So we’re using Calla Lilies today but you can really use any flower that you’d like and this makes it very inexpensive and the fun way to decorate. You can do this ahead and now you can see the pew holder. We’ve wired it on. We have this beautiful decoration and you can slip that right on the pew. And then when you’re done, take it off here, slip it into a vase and you have something beautiful for your reception tables as well.
Now, we have one other pew holder that I want to show you. And this one comes with a little cage and some foam inside. You can use this for fresh or for artificial, same holder, slide it on to your pew but this time, we’re going to have a Rose Gardenia Lilly Wedding so we’ll use of those same flowers and put them right into the foam. You don’t need a large group of flowers just enough to fill up and cover the foam. If your stems are too long, you’re going to get quite big. So remember, keep your stems short, push them in deep in all the way so they don’t fall off or fall apart. This is important when you’re getting married, you don’t want anything to go wrong. So make sure when you’re filling it in, put those stems in deep, all the way down into the foam. And then in no time, you have a beautiful little decoration that again, you can slide right onto the pew. Have fun and good luck.
