What’s good You Tube? It’s Creative Ice Media Group here and I’m done on this quick tutorial, modern warfare II came out guys. I’ve been waiting for this game for ages and I’m going to be banging out all day. Got back from school, done my work, and like four hours straight I’ve been playing. My head is killing me but I decided to make a tutorial on how to make quality for modern warfare text as like a good buy to that game because I’m not going to be playing that anymore.

There are two texts in this tutorial. One bold one which is this, this isn’t actually that accurate but it looks sort of like it, I guess. And then our type of text is the one where like it flashes in the video I think. I don’t even remember when I’m tired. Let’s make this one first. So let’s go file new, open up a document I would say. I want to do it in 1000 but it won’t. No reason but I made a background black.

Now what I’m going to do is get a text tool. And with the font, bankgothic lt BT, I have downloaded it from the font.com or I will post the link in the sidebar where to download this font. I’m sure if you go to font.com, you can find this all and enter what you want. So I’m going to write Creative ice media. I’m just going to make all nice effect inside. We got our text. This is the actually font I use. So then what we’re going to change, we’re going to change the color to text to the code is eeffee. It’s this is greenish white. It’s just as a pale greenish white. That’s okay.

Now what I’m going to do is go to the fx that thing there and go to outer glow. We’re going to change outer glow color to 7dff6e, press okay. We’re going to do size around 20. If we zoom in, 100% it’s already looking like it. There’s just one final effect they have on the text which is those lines going through it. To do this, we go to file new. We do width one, height three, press okay. We zoom in all the way to image, making new layer. Delete the background there so you’re left that’s just transparent now. Get your pencil tool. If you don’t have a pencil tool, it might be a brush and just right click and click pencil tool. With the color black, just paint in the middle.

When you’re done that, go edit; define pattern, and name whatever you want. I’m going to write it cod 4 bye, that’s the name of the pattern. Then what we’re going to do is making new layer and go back to this document, I’m making new layer on top of the text. When you close down to it is right click and go to patterns then select tool. Just choose on the list of the patterns, pick one that we just made. And with a nice brush, just start painting over it, there we go. We change the opacity down because that’s hardly too strong. I’ll change the opacity to around 30 and there we have it. That’s the first of it.

Now the other text is slightly more complicated but it’s nothing tricky. But to be honest, it doesn’t exactly look entirely like it but it’s like a really basic version so don’t cry on me guys. Don’t be like “No, it’s not the right one.” because if you do, you like to eat pooh. And you text, I’ll write call of duty. We’re going to change with text actually to impact. Again, it will be on the font.com. I think most people actually have that in their computer. It’s actually font.com impact and gothic bt, whatever it was called. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, find the font.com. You should really check out because it’s like the best font website ever made in the world to below shoutout mode.

Once we have that, we’re going to go to effects pallet. We’re going to go into the inner shadow. We’re going to change the angle to 45. We’re going to check anti-aliased, wonder what that it is and change distance to three and the size to seven.

Now what we do, we click on bevel and emboss. We’re going to change these settings. We’re going to leave it to inner bevel. We’re going to change it to chisel card. Then we don’t mess with this. We’re going to mess with these bad boys. We’re going to do that, sorry, we forgot to mess with this bad boy. Depth for engine 17, how can I forget that at all? Size, it can be six or actually a six. Then altitude would be around 50 I would say. And we’ll check anti-aliased what that word is again. We’re going to change highlight mode to normal. We’re going to change the opacity to 100. And then we’re going to change the color to this, to a nice dark green, something like that. And press okay. Change opacity to 100 also. And actually that might be a bit too dark. But you know, I might change my opacity below to 200.

Then we click on control, check the anti-aliased and range 100. Cool. Now what we do is click on gradient overly. And we’re going to click any gradient that’s go off free way system. So as you can see this one does. So we’ll just click on any of this freeway system. Click on this one because this is actually angled already. Click on any freeway system and double click. Double click on the first box and what it’s going to be, we’re going to enter custom colors. So the code is 91fd83. Cool. The second color is just plain white and then the third color is 314834, press okay. And we click over here; we should get a little diamond thing pop up. We just move a little bit towards a bit closer to what so called. And then if we click over here, this time and little things should come with a tiny little bit closer. Cool. Press okay. We’re going to move the scale a bit down. And that’s pretty much it. So that’s a quality to create vice media group gamers, coming out in 2012, preorder it now. Now, I’m only joking guys. But that’s how you basically meet the quality of text effects, I guess. Sort of, maybe no.
