Obviously the most important ingredient in these meatballs is going to be the meat. This calls for a ratio of 80:20 that means 80% lean to 20% fat, and guess what, there’s going to be a ton of flavor in these meatballs, we’re going to add this meat into this bowl, add in some onion powder, garlic powder, a little bit of milk and last but not the least we’re going use saltine crackers instead of bread crumbs which is awesome because it provides so much natural salt.
To make these salting crumbs, simply grab yourself a plastic bag, throw the saltine crackers in there, get yourself a mallet, and go to town so these crackers turn into crumbs.
Now is the fun part. Time to mix all of these ingredients together, you know what we’re making meatballs, let’s here some of that Italian music alright? There that’s better.
Now is the time to roll this into one to one, to one and a half inch meatballs and we’re simply going to place it on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, once they are all form, we’re going in to the oven on 425 degrees for about 12-15 minutes, yes my friends, this is a thing of beauty, they look amazing and they smell phenomenal. Now time to play them up. Get your roll out give it a slice right down the center, we’re going to put our meatballs right in there and add a little bit of Marinara sauce. And of course, let’s not forget a little shredded cheese right on top. This is a meal fit for a King and at a budget you can afford and it was so easy to make.
