Hey guys! Today, I’m going to show you how to get a Watermark on your videos. So I’m going to show you how to create a little circle on your videos just to say, just to represent you or whatever you want it for. What you want to do is open up Adobe Fireworks CS3 and you want to go to FILE and you want to go to NEW. Make sure the width is 100 and the height is 100 and they’re all pixels and resolutions 72. Right down her, if it’s on white makes sure it’s transparent. Select the transparent because we don’t want a background we just want the shape that we’re going to create. So make sure it’s transparent and click OK.
Alright so we’re going to get a little box there and what you want to do is we’re going to add a circle there. So we’re going to here to the Rectangle Tool. Its not called the Rectangle Tool and select different things but if you click U on your keyboard, it’ll just select the circle that we want and if you go down here to its like a rectangle tool. So if you go down here and hold the left button on your mouse and there are ton of tools you can select, but we’re going to select the circle one because we’re going to make a circle.
Alright, so the square you want to just select this somewhere and make sure it’s a little big and you don’t want it too big. Just make it perfect okay. And now this is a white color. You can’t release here right here because of the background. So we’re going to change this to a red and we’re going to go down here to these colors or you know what, where it says solid, you want to click on it. It usually always says solid. So just click on that and I’ll just bring this menu up and click on Gradient and go to Linear. The reason why we’re selecting Linear is because we’re going to select two colors that are different than each other, which is good.
Okay so you want to select this square there and you want to go—there’s going to be two arrows there pointing up okay so you want to move this arrows. Okay, so you want to click on the left arrow the top and just click in and just bring a menu of colors here. So you want to select red, you don’t have to select red because. You can select whatever you want okay. So down here on the right where its your points up, you want to select that and you want to select on—I’m going to select the darker red just because it looks good.
Alright so once you’re done, it’s going to look something like this and you can add borders here. You can customize to however you like. Just don’t make it too hard to see because people want to see it right. So the border, you can change the border too if you’d like and just make it however you want. Okay so this is just an example. This is not actually going to be mine. Alright, so make sure it’s in the middle and we want it in the middle so it could look good in the video.
So now, once you’re done editing with the circle, you want to add some text. So go to the Text tool and just select it and select where you want the text. So I’m going to make it in the middle and just add something. I’m going to put HT1 and you can make it smaller if you want okay. And once you make your text, you want to put in the middle. You can change the color okay. So make it in the middle. So once you think you’ve done a good job and you think you’re going to be ready to put this on YouTube. What you want to do is you want to click FILE and you want to go to SAVE AS okay so this box will come up. Alright, now make sure you select your desktop and what’s this filename, I’m going to name EXAMPLE okay. Now we’re to SAVE AS type makes sure it’s Fireworks PNG or also it won’t work okay. Don’t select JPEG or anything else just make sure its Fireworks.png and just click SAVE.
Now once you save it, you’re going to get something like this and as you can see there’s no background. It’s just the circle that we’ve created and which is good because when we add this to the video we’re not going to get any backgrounds to it. Alright so when you double-click on it, you can see that there’s no background here, it’s just the circle which is good okay.
So now I’m going to bring my editing software which is Camtasia Studio 6 and if you have Sony Vegas Pro 8 or any other software like I don’t know if you’re using a Mac or something else. I use Camtasia Studio 6 because it has the Watermark option, not all editing software have Watermark options, so just find a good software that has the Watermark Option and it will work great. I use Camtasia Studio 6 because it does of course have it.
Alright so thank you guys for watching the video, please comment, rate and subscribe.
