How to Make a Theme for iPhone
Hey guys. What’s up? David here, iPod Touch 2G Geek and this is the best theme you can get for a jail broken iPhone or iPod touch. This theme is called Odyssey. It is not available in Cydia installer or Icy, none of those. It is only available through this video because it’s a custom theme I had made. We’re just going to give you a little walk through right now and as you can see I have change the lock screen. You got a very nice picture of the clown fish from the iPhone as well as the black slider. You just slide to unlock and then you will see this very, very nice, elegant, sleek background and just to show you guys a little bit better, there you go.
It is a little burner from the stove. Once that flames coming out it’s water. Right here you will see I have change a lot of the icons. I had changed everything in here about mail and notes. When you go to the home screen, you will see I changed music video, calendar, Safari, and inbox mail because that is where I get my Hotmail from. I have also changed App Store, Cydia installer, settings, winter board and install us. Install is just the C-drive icon for Macs except I just added in a little gray arrow pointing down.
Winter board I took the original summer board icon. I just added a little snow effect thing up at the top and then for settings and installer, App Store and Cydia I just the took the regular icons and then I added a little Chrome bezeling around the edges which I thought was a very nice, different touch.
Also, in games I have also added a few icons for games. Now I did not really spend as much time on this as I would have like to so I do not have a lot of icons but I do have a quite a few. They are very nice. These icons are also fairly sleek in my opinion and so those are a few of the icons. Also we’re going to my apps folder. You will see I have changed a few icons in here as well all right.
Also one more thing before I go on. I have also added a charge screen in a Mac style. If you guys get this you’ll see it and hopefully you’ll like it. Now to get this, what you are going to do is go to the video description to the right and download the Odyssey folder and when you get it, it would be a zip folder. So what you’re going to do is right click it and select extract and then once you do that you will get an Odyssey folder.
Now once you have that you’re going to open up your SHH client and then you’re just going to press this little folder with an up arrow once, select stash and themes dot whatever. It will be five numbers or letters, different for everybody. I'm just going to open that up and drag your Odyssey folder into there. I want to make sure it’s not highlighting anything. You just drag in and select copy. I am going to do no because I already have it in there. Then once you do that you’re done. You can now exit your SSH client and then go back to your iPhone or iPod touch.
Then what you are going to do is open up winter board and you will now have Odyssey in there. All you're going to do is select it and also make sure everything else is not selected. Just go back to your home screen, let it re-spring and you’ll be greeted by the very nice lock screen. You’ll have this theme on it. So thanks guys for watching. Remember to rate, comment and subscribe for more great videos, tutorials, reviews everything. See you guys later.
