What's up YouTube this is Your PC Help and today I'm going to show you how make quick shutdown and restart icon on your desktop shortcuts just like this. Just in case your lazy or you just want to log off the computer real quick or shutdown or restart I mean.
Okay, this is how to do it. You right click on your desktop you go to new, shortcut and you want to name it shutdown space –s for shutdown space –t space zero. T is for time and then S for shutdown and the zero so it’s quick and then you hit next and you can name it whatever you want. I'll name it shutdown for a YouTube.
And if you don’t want that boring icon you could right click in and go to properties change icon and you can come over here to your default shutdown icon, click okay and hit apply and just like that. And if you want to do the restart you go to new, shortcut and you name this one shutdown space –r for restart space –t for time and then zero and you want to hit next and you can name it restart. I'll name it restart since we already have a restart and you want to hit finish.
And like again if don’t want that icon you right click properties, change icon but there is no restart icon and your default icons I don’t know why but I just pick this one right here this green one. You can pick whatever you want; you can probably download one it’s up to you.
So yeah, thanks for watching. Please comment, rate and subscriber. If you have any question just feel free to ask. See you
