How to Make a Scotch Holiday Sour
Today, I’m gonna teach you how to make a Scotch Holiday Sour. It’s a great drink for the holidays.
Now, we want to start out with this rock glass, or old-fashioned. Never really know where’s that going. Careful with that. Ice it and grab your shaker tin.
Now, start it out with a nice Single Malt Scotch, an ounce and a half. There you go. Follow with an ounce of cherry brandy. There you go and about a half ounce of sweet vermouth. Now, top up with about an ounce of lemon. There you go. Love it when that happens.
Grab your shaker glass. Shake that up nicely you’ll never really know. One time. Strainer. And pour it out. Yeah, really nice looking shaken drink. Now you want to garnish with a lemon and straw. And there you go, you have a perfect Scotch Holiday Sour.
Now a lot of Scotch drinkers just drink it on its own. So if you’re looking for something as a blend, as a mixture and a cocktail, this is a really good choice.
Now, remember, driving is one thing that doesn’t mix well with alcohol. So play safe and we’ll see you next time.
