Hi I’m Jay Stewart, I’m from Auntie Anne’s pretzels. I'm going to show you today how to make your own soft pretzels using our at home pretzel kits in your home.
I’m going to show you how to prepare the dough, rolling the pretzels, twisting the pretzels which is the best part, preparing to bake the pretzels and adding the pretzel topings, the actual baking and of course the finishing touches.
Some of the tools and ingredients you will need are, four tablespoons of fresh butter, one teaspoon of vegetable oil, nonstick spray, flour, one tablespoon of active dry yeast, a pizza cutter, a baking tray, two large mixing bowls and of course a whisk. Please use extreme caution when preparing these ingredients at home around the ovens and please supervise your children as they will want to participate and help in the kitchen.
Before we begin, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’ve been with Auntie Anne’s for over nine years primarily assisting our franchises and all areas of operations including and most importantly our hand rolled soft pretzel. Auntie Anne’s has over two decades of pretzel making experience and we have over 950 locations throughout the world and now that you know a little bit about myself and Auntie Anne’s, let’s get started making pretzels.
