How to Make a Pompom Bear

Cute and Easy Pom Pom Teddy Bear

So today’s craft is a very easy one and it’s basically a pom pom teddy bear. And for that we will need one hot glue gun or you can use tacky glue or fabric glue. One large pom pom, one medium pom pom and four small pom poms and two mini pom poms that happen to be brown and two googly eyes and one small or mini black pom pom as well as little piece of lace. Now with the piece of lace that I had, I made one little bow tie for our teddy bear. And I had a little with leftover so you can see that here. But I’m going to recycle it for another project so we can use it later.

Now I take the large pom pom, I fluff it a little bit with my hands and then now I’m going to attach the head to it. The head will be the medium pom pom that we had shown here a little so now I’m attaching that as the head of the little teddy bear. And now I’m going to attach the arm. Now as I said for this craft I’m using hot glue gun for the purposes of having this as quickly as possible for you guys to see. But, you can use tacky glue or fabric glue if you’re doing this with your child, and now we’re attaching the other hand.

The hot glue gun shouldn’t be handled by children and this is why I suggest that you get yourself a fabric glue or tacky glue if you’re doing this with your child. When I’m doing this with my son, I usually use the other type of glue but right now its night time so I’m just doing this craft really quickly for you. So I’m attaching the foot and there we go, we have the body all done as quick as that. This is very easy to do.

Now this is the finished product. This is what your little teddy bear is going to look like once you are done with it. You can see that it looks like a large sized teddy bear even though it’s a miniature one. Now that we have the body completed, we want to attach the two ears and you want to make sure that you put it at each side of the head so it will look really as realistic as possible as far as teddy bear is concerned. This is not a real teddy bear but at least get it to look like the ones in the store. And now we are going to attach the eyes. And basically for lesson plan for this, if you’re planning to do this for a lesson plan, you can talk about the forest. You can talk about bears in the wild and the reserved parks that they have bears in and all those sort of things with your students or your little one.

Now that we have the two eyes next to each other, we’re going to attach the little nose. And here we go, there its set. Now we’re going to attach the little bow tie, just for the cuteness effect and what that real teddy bears have this but just for the cuteness effect.

That’s it. This is the finished product. You can see the little bow tie that I put it for personalization effect. You can move different things with this little project.
