Before I do that, the vanishing water trick, make sure there’s water in here. You probably can’t see it. We’re doing here the vanishing water trick, ready. The mirror is no trap doors, no hidden elephants, just me, magical G and water, vanishing water. Thank you very much. Thank you. Okay, you’re not that impressed. It doesn’t matter. We’ll just use this cup, the levitating cup, ready. If you believe on something, if you focus all you're energy on this cup, you’ll see, its trying to move, ready, here we go, focus. Cool, huh?

Hi guys! Welcome back to the levitation of the plastic cup trick plus the vanishing water trick, that’s going to be on a special deal I’ve got, you can order from me personally. Vanishing water trick, that’s a gag, it’s good though, gag is good. Let me just say quickly, gags are fun, because humor relaxes people. You do a little magic tip here. Humor relaxes people to go, “Oh, okay, he’s just joking.” And it’s very good to do a secret move or a secret cover and I’m going to show how what I mean. You don’t have to do the vanishing water thing if you don’t want to but I like humor and it gets me -- having a bit of fun with people. The secret to this trick, okay, its not a daily cup of field illusion but it’s a good party trick to pull off, I know it’s cool. The secret is a hole, a hole in the cup.

Now, we didn’t have any Styrofoam cups. Typically, you can do this with Styrofoam cups because you can jam your thumbs straight in the cup. If you don’t have any Styrofoam cups, don’t worry about it, you just need to cut a hole in the back of a cup. Don’t make it a big hole and you know, just make it just small enough so you the thumb can fit inside of it. Now, there are couple of issues with this trick, first of all, if you're using the Styrofoam cup to push your thumb in, the sound, okay, you need a cover for the sound, you can either cough. A gag is good, because everyone laughs, you can just go, just like that. That’s probably the best thing I recommend. I don’t really know of any other ways you can try and push your thumb through a cup without any noise, you know, if you want to play some music quickly and cut it off, I don’t know, you know what I mean, get a laugh, in someway you need to get your thumb inside of a cup. You figure it out.

Humor, I recommend doing a gag, doing a vanishing water gag, its going to be perfect. This trick, because it’s a plastic cup, you’ve already made a hole. Now the great thing about this is I can sort of do that, put my thumb over the hole and it doesn’t really look that there’s a whole in there.

So, after I’ve done the vanishing water gag, I go, “Actually, you know what, levitation, people really love levitation.” As I’m talking to you, as I’m looking in the person’s eyes, people look where I look. I put my thumb in the hole. So, after I’ve done the vanishing water gag, thank you very much. Stick my finger in the hole and get actually, you know, “Watch, levitation is an amazing thing.” And I’ve just put my thumb in the hole, there’s not much noise, you just put your thumb in the hole.

If you believe that something levitate it will and I use a bit of like -- a bit of deep magic right now, I believe, the spiritual -- a little bit of crazy stuff and I just go, “watch” and you blow, you build it up and what you're doing is your thumb is inside the hole and you're pretty much keeping your fingers like this and you’ll -- doing that.

Once again, this isn’t going to fool the millions but it’s going to get the people to go “huh,” one of those, kind of, what happen just there? So your thumb goes in, and you go check this out. If you believe -- once again, build up a trick, don’t just go, hey! Watch this. People like, who is this guy, did we even invite him to the party. You want to put your thumb in the hole, belief, build up the trick and go, “Watch, if you believe.” They actually watch.

Once again, do some kind of magical gesture and just do that. I really like that trick and pull your thumb out and you can cover the whole or if you want to clean up a few things, if someone’s going to grab the cup, you can rip it open, you can just rip it like this and go, ‘Here, you give it a try.” Okay, you're clean; no one’s going to think there’s a hole in that. So I really like that trick, remember practice it. It’s not a hard trick, have fun with it. That’s the main thing.
