How to Make a Harvey Wallbanger

Today, we’re going to teach you how to make the perfect Harvey Wallbanger, very popular in 1970’s. Rumors about how it was actually created, the one that I like the best, is created by a bartender who made drinks for a person named Harvey. Harvey was a surfer. Harvey likes his screwdrivers and he actually added the Galliano to his screwdrivers. Well, after a few too many, he started bouncing into the walls, and that’s why they call it a Harvey Wallbanger.

So what you want to do is start it out with a Collins glass, it’s a nice tall glass. Fill it up with ice. There you go. Start with a nice premium vodka. Gotta love that. Premium liquor makes premium drinks. One ounce. There you go. Top off with orange juice. Oh, keeps slipping. Squeeze, get the top there. It’s about there. Oh, almost missed that. Keeps slipping. And you want to float the Galliano on top, but that is, it’s just about half an ounce. And it will just stay on top there so when you sip it, it tastes very nice. Garnish with an orange of course, very nice. Get a straw. Put in a little stir. And you have your perfect Harvey Wallbanger.
