Jennifer Perkins: Now, what do an old T-shirt? To restore hand bag and a pair of shoelace that’s have to do with Halloween will, when you put them all together they are going to make for one or really cute custom candy bags for your kiddies. We’ve got a lot of different ideas that’s really going to get your imagination to do it and your kid’s imagination going. This is the fun activity to do before you send them out trick or treating they can make there own bag or another great activity to have for a party.
First step let’s start with our T-Shirt candy bags. It’s hard to believe that this little floral concoction actually started out as a T-Shirt but if you look closely you can see that, that’s exactly what it is. Here is look with a little neckline, here is a little sleeve wore. I say wore because in order to get a little handle screw bag I actually cut them out on both side, I just snip those sleeves right off and now that acts as our little handle for our little floral bag. There is obviously a little magic, we have to work at the bottoms that your candy doesn’t spill out of the bottom of your T-Shirt. We turn the T-Shirt and sign out and we just poke holes one on each side all the way across. You don’t want have your holes two space out because you want to have your bottom nice and secure so no candy falls out the bottom. And on other hands, we listed up just like a shoelace and this is going to keep your bag nice and close, tie it in the bow and then turn it right to side out. And now this one is a little tank top so I didn’t have to cut me sleeves over there handy.
It’s cut a little butterfly on there but it can always be a cuter, I mean come on I can leave my hat own alone. So, we’re going to use that bag to do stuff like close some little beads on there, little fake flowers, other balls for the fancy pants on the girl in your life. Let the kids help design the bag themselves, let them match there outfit. You know you want to coordinate with there costume of course. So, the kids are going to be super excited to have fun candy bag and they’re also going to super proud of themselves because they help to make it.
Now, another option is for you to take a pre-existing handbag and then can adorn it any which way you want. You can find needs at the flee market in the back on your own closet if you like me. All you want to do is just decorate them to match your kiddie’s costumes with the vessel a cute purple handbag and just draw a kiddy on it very cute. And then we just hot glue guns and some black sequence on there very cute and also shimmering which I enjoy. We added some giggly eyes, they can kind watch what your doing and they even have a cute little pink limestone nose which I love. And then around the edges I just took some glow in the dark for paint and add them some swirl, its kind a look super cute and light or at night.
You can also use a tilt bag these are really easy to find them, almost grocery stores are selling on these days. Again, we’ve just took the puff paint, go all around the edges and decorated that’s look like a gingerbread house, I especially like the welcome map on this one very cute. And then we glued on some candy corn, if you have a little dude going out this day a gingerbread man or gingerbread girl for Halloween, this will be the perfect bag to send them out with. All of this were really easy and they’re going to be super excited to go on and build it up with tons of candies.
