Loading roll paper Epson stylus photo R2880.

Male Speaker: Hello I'm Eddie with Epson Professional Imaging and I'm going to show you how to load roll paper into your Epson Stylus Photo R2880 printer. I'm using Epson Premium Canvas Matte, but these steps will also work for Premium Canvas Satin and the roll versions of premium photo paper glossy and ultra premium photo paper luster.

The first step is to attach the roll paper holders to the core of the roll paper, make sure the paper is overhand like this and that the tabs are visible on the left and right. Next mount the roll paper holder under the back of the printer before attaching it move the roll paper guide to the far right. There are tabs on a left and the right of the roll paper holder. Using the orange markers as a guide align both tabs into the slots and then slider the holder down and secure it. The roll paper holder will be firmly attached to the back of the printer.

Now we're going to load the paper into the roll paper path opening with the right rollers. Align the roll paper guide so that the paper is flush and straight on both of left and the right. Advance the paper forward, you may encounter a little resistant at first, but keep pushing the paper while applying gentle pressure until the printer pulls the paper into the printing position.

For canvas make sure there is some extra slot to ensure proper feeding and printing. Pull the canvas up to the Epson logo. To check that the roll paper is loaded correctly lift the cover and look inside, you should not see leading edge of the paper, if this is the case your paper is loaded correctly. Lastly print according to the instructions in your users guide.
