Another fun variation of the three-ball cascade is called clawing. Usually when we catch a ball, we do it with our palm up. practice throwing the ball back and forth, clawing down on it, snapping it up, catching it from above, then try throwing and catching with your palms down. Then like every trick, we are going to try it back with the throw, throw, catch, catch technique. Throw, throw, catch, catch. Until you feel comfortable with that throw. Then you can try releasing both of them with palms down. This is one trick where having beanbags is a lot easier than bouncy balls because when you miss, the ball comes down in a lot of force.
I am going to start with three balls and choose the yellow ball for the first one, I am going to claw in my right hand. Here it comes. Like every good trick, I need to learn it with my left, as well as my right. eventually, you can move up to clawing every ball. This trick really will come in handy later when we try body throws as well.
