Bowmann here at BWone.com I’m giving you a quick tour of the installation process of Windows ‘07. Now this version of Windows ‘07 I have is Built 7100 which is supposed to be the release candidate build the RC build for short. So we’re going to see how the installation process goes. So let’s begin here. As you can look at the main screen its first screen that pops up when you put the disk in and you have to choose between what language to install, which this one only has English and you can change your time and currency right here. And you could change your keyboard and input. Once you’ve chosen what you want on that screen click next and down here at the bottom you can click within installing Windows to give you some tips and some ideas on what to know, for me it’s only Windows, pretty self-explanatory. Then next time here is pretty competing. If you have Windows ’07 installed already and in some ways you can’t boot or you can’t load Windows or scratching you can try to prepare your computer. They can do some different tools and different tricks to try and get it to work again. So for us we want to do a cleanup selection so we’re going to click install now. It’s been noticed that it’s kind of blue background, nice and smooth with kind of a green grass on the right side, it’s kind of right there, very graphic pointer face, very similar to Windows Vista. So here you want to click that accept these terms, click next, and you have two options here, you can go to upgrade and you can upgrade it from Windows Vista or you can upgrade it from one of previous beta version of Windows 07 or we’re going to click on custom which we want to install a new copy of Windows right over it. So here when you click on that can made this partition, you can refresh this if you plug in a new one, you can load driver so you get this to show up and you have to drive up this on the other side. And when you click drive options you have the options to delete, format, you can extend, you kind of create a new partition. So what we’re going to do is I’m actually going to delete this disc here. This kind of wipes off the partition and I’m going to click new and you can choose a partition size. It’s going to choose the biggest partition and can to take up the whole drive if you want to kind of have a second drive you can make this partition smaller and it will only partition net part of the drive and any other partition would be on allocated space which you can choose for something else. So we’re going to use the whole drive in this case so I’ll click apply. Make sure I want that at all. Windows Vista will check when I create additional partitions for our system files. So we’ll click OK and then format, so seems like what they do in Windows 07 which is very similar to Linux so to have I guess to kind of a SWOT file type of a SWOT partition type of thing going on, so they take about a hundred megabytes specifically for that and that system and this is the primary right here which is the zero partition to, so we want to click format on this one and you just want to partition it prior to the partition but I to click on it as much just to make sure it is. Once it’s been partitioned you click next, and the installation process will begin. Right, let’s do a quick reboot here and when we start so it’ll go back into the setup process here. You can type any user name and Bowmann PC is fine for now. You can always change that computer name later if you want to. Next, we always want to type in a password, they recommend you to do it. You can always skip it but always type—I always type in a password just for your benefit. Next, is the security number here. In this is where you want to put in the product key and if you want to install port updates, ask later, use recommend settings, I always recommend the settings that I need to change later on. I’m East Coast, so I’m going to choose East Coast time, make sure the date is right and time is correct, click next, it’s going to finalize your setting. Sometimes if you—do you have a wireless try to install like on a laptop, I’d seen it that way, it let you actually connect to a network in which ones you want to connect it to. So there we are, your start menu, we have a desktop here and this is Windows 07, if you see here at the bottom—this is an evaluation copy, this is 7100 build, I’ll zoom in on the corner there is I can get that on camera. It can be a little way but you’re ready to go. This is the Windows 07, 7100 built, this is the RC build. So that’s a quick way to show you how to install a version of Window 07 installation. Pretty simple, pretty straightforward and I want to go into the beta of this and try to peek through and use some things to look forward to. So, this is Bowmann from BWone.com, gave you quick installation tour of Windows 07, and always remember to live your tech world in high definition.
