I am Chris Duke from Motorz TV. We are here live in Las Vegas at the 2009 SEMA show to show you how to install an Access Cover by Agri-Cover
Agri-Cover's Access Cover is a Low-profile Roll-up Tonneau cover for your pickup truck. It rolls up with ease and uses no bed space leaving with the full bed to hold your gear. It's vinyl-coated fabric withstands heat and cold temperature, so won't expand or shrink. It's easy to install with its No-drill C-clamp design and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
For this installation, you're going to need two 9/16" wrenches, a half inch wrench, pair of scissors, some spring clamps, and a tape measure.
To install the Access Cover, you've to install both of these rails to the inside of the bed of your truck, just using the clamps they provided a half inch wrench. You tighten that down. Put it in the position using a spring clamp or you can have a buddy help you hold it in place.
This may be the most fun I've ever had with clothes on. The rail needs to be flushed with the front of the bed of the truck, and then it also needs to be flushed with this rail here on the side, so you want to adjust that, just like that, so adjust even with that top bar right there. Do some loose fittings right now. Now adjust these clamps because you want to make sure that this is a level or it's not right now -- now repeat on the other side.
At the front of the box header, prepare the surface with the provided alcohol prep pad, and then peel the paper off this Element Seal, stick it all along the top. Put the Access Cover up on your tailgate, upside down with this front bar facing up, so we can install the two tension adjusters using the inch-and-a-quarter bolt that is supplied - insert it into the nut which is in this track and tighten down loosely with the 9/16 inch wrench.
Take the Tonneau Cover and put it up on the front here on the rails with that top-bar facing up, you want to flip it forward, seat it in the place till it's snug. Slide the tension adjuster on both sides of the bed over to meet up with this hole in the rail. You then quite get all the way over, just loosen up this nut on the bottom to give it a little bit more clearance. You have got a little bit of play here, and you can take the provided bolt, put it through the hole, tighten it down.
Check the amount of side to side play you have with this bar in the side rail. We've got about an eighth of an inch on both sides. We're good to go. Now we can tighten this down with this 9/16 inch bolt right down there. Roll the cover close and if it's too tight or too loose, you can adjust the tension right here. And if it's too tight or too loose against the tailgate, you can adjust this bracket right here.
On the passenger's side, there is a Slide Lock for security, just push it out. On the driver's side is the Quick Release Latch, to open it up, just pull it like that, and open it up. With the help from a buddy, the Access Cover is pretty easy to install. That does it for this episode.
