Remove the existing upper sash by lowering the sash a few inches, tilt again inwards from the top and removing it. Remove the sash liners. Use a pry bar to remove the interior windows stops on each side of the existing window. Save these stops, because you will re-install them later. Insert the replacement window into the jamb by tilting the bottom of the window into place and then pushing the top of the window into the opening. Screw the window into place through the existing screw holes in the window. Re-attach the interior stops. From the outside of the window, apply a bead of cock between the blind stop and the new vinyl window around all four sides.
