George Watts: Today I’m here in Hull for a very special make-over with grooming the groom with the star housemate. Hello, Sir.
Dan Bryan: Hello.
George Watts: Thank you for joining us on the show.
Dan Bryan: That’s not a problem
George Watts: It’s so good to see you, Dan from Big Brother five.
Dan Bryan: Hello.
George Watts: Thank you for inviting us. Now today, we’re here to groom the groom. We’re telling this is a service you offered. What is it all about, tell me.
Dan Bryan: Well obviously, go to wedding, meet the groom and then we’ve got two guys here who are Kevin and Pete and I wanted to do two key looks. So I’ve gone for designer versus high street.
George Watts: Obviously it’s fantastic to get an expert in, to get the style right but if you’re on a budget what would you recommend?
Dan Bryan: Like I said earlier, keeping it simple but you know most solemn with a creative stylist in there anyway, I’m not going to charge the half for I mean, you know people think just because I’ve done a bit I’ll tell you that to get the hair done with me is going to be hundreds of pounds and its not. I would gents cut start at 15, ladies cut style at 35 and its just making it accessible to the people on the high stray and I don’t believe in charging stupid prices.
George Watts: So oversee Big Brother, a massive, massive part of your life. You know it must be crazy when you first came out of the house.
Dan Bryan: Yes, it’s difficult to comprehend so for instance if you’re in a pretty big band like U2, like William, the prince which is a very recognizable face but only very specifically people who were fans of those, people would recognize them in the street but everybody from grandmas to mothers to little kids to teenagers, everybody watches Big Brother. And when you came from a successful series like we had, you are recognized everywhere and it takes some getting used to but I’ve been able to use it like I said earlier to achieve things that I want to achieve.
George Watts: Well the hair is nearly completed. Now it’s time for the guys to meet the changing room and complete the look.
Dan Bryan: We’ve done the cuts, we’ve got the guys suited and booted and here they are, Gorgeous.
George Watts: Done, we know that one is designer and one is high street. Okay you both look fantastic but let’s focus through the looks.
Dan Bryan: This is Versace, as a designer I find Versace quite flamboyant with this tailoring and I want it to keep it casual as well. This is MNS. This is from their autograph range. If you look at this detailing on the inside it’s absolutely fantastic.
George Watts: Dan, thank you so much for this day. If nothing else I’ve learned masses from here. I love to know what’s your ultimate top tip for getting it right?
Dan Bryan: That’s going to keep it simple because with the simple and elegant lines then you can't go wrong, same with haircuts, same with tailoring. Keep it simple.
George Watts: Thank you so much for joining us on the show. Good luck with the best of your styling and I hope to see you again soon.
