How to Get Rid of Puffy Eyes Using Simple Household Items
Zelana Montminy: You may already know about using cucumbers to soothe puffy eyes. Today’s Celebrity Esthetician, Kate Somerville will be showing her at home tips to get rid of dark circles and soothe puffy eyes by using tea bags and spoons.
Kate Somerville: So lot of celebrities come to me for my signature treatments and green tea is one of my secret ingredients. All you got need really is two tea bags with hot water and you’re going to need two spoons with some ice and your favorite eye cream.
So first one, you're going to need two warm green tea bags. So we’re just going to apply them on the eye area like so and we’re going to leave this on anywhere from three to four minutes and let the green tea steam. It has natural caffeine in it and the caffeine actually constricts the blood vessels and it actually helps to push out any fluid that you might have under the eyes.
Okay, so the next step is really simple. You just apply your favorite eye cream under the eyes. You get two colds spins and I actually massage underneath the eye area and I push outward to push any kind of fluid that might be build up under the eye.
For the last step is actually just to pat dry and if you want de-puff eyes and gorgeous looking skin, voila dark circles and puffy eyes gone.
Zelana Montminy: Thank you for helping us de-puff.
Kate Somerville: Absolutely.
Zelana Montminy: Thanks for watching. Stay beautiful.
