We’re here with Lauren Merkin today to learn all about the must have bags for fall. So she’s going to give us the scoop on every woman’s must have purses. So thank you so much for being with us.

Lauren Merkin: Thank you for coming

Jenn Falik: And talk to me. What are the purses that every woman needs to have in their closet?

Lauren Merkin: Well obviously we’re in with our clutches and I think that every woman needs to have at least two clutches, something that she can wear for evening like this or Lucy clutch. A perfect evening with a little shine and nice, a small size but for more of a regular night out or just even daytime shopping you want more of an oversize clutch something that it’s really can stock with your items so and this cracked clutches something in the blue, it’s a fine color but can still be really neutral.

Jenn Falik: It can even feel like a little notebook in here right?

Lauren Merkin: Definitely, you can hold all your centrals, your phone, your wallet and it can really take you from day to night. So I think that’s a great—something that ever women should have.

Jenn Falik: And for an everyday bag. If a woman want to invest in a new bag for fall but you don’t necessarily want black or brown. You got this thing a little more exciting, a little more color. What color do you recommend that sure it goes with everything?

Lauren Merkin: Well, I actually always discourage you from wearing black or brown. I think you’re just get tired of it. You can kind of go on couple of directions something like a red or a burgundy it would be a great neutral that’s going to go with black, brown, gray, navy and you can also do a metallic like this. Metallic definitely have which is really the common types that becomes so neutral and it can be just really wearable and fine. I mean you want to love that bag you’re carrying everyday and enjoy it and we don’t worry so much about matching perfectly. But this just a great way to have a little shine, have a little excitement but it still really goes with everything that probably would be wearing.

Jenn Falik; I obviously get spotty with this bag thing, you don’t think it match anything, end up going with everyday.

Lauren Merkin: Definitely, it’s always the easiest like this is really—I can't really think of an outfit that would work for us though.

Jenn Falik: And is there a one new bag when you’re selecting you’re seeing for fall that you think is destined to become classic?

Lauren Merkin: Well I think I went in like years and one of the things we’re saying both in the day bags than in clutches as to cost value bag.

Jenn Falik: Let’s say I’m running out of hands here, so prefect nodding for the cost value bag.

Lauren Merkin: So this is one of our best selling shapes for fall and you can wear it across the body and it’s just a great evening style. But it can also be a day hand style and it’s just makes it convenient so you can be hands-free, anything that you know for day or for evening sometimes that’s just what you need.

Jenn Falik: So it could actually be at a cocktail party and hold the cocktail.

Lauren Merkin: Yeah, exactly. And if you’re running around town, yeah, you don’t have to worry about losing your clutch. So this is something that we’re just seeing every woman go crazy for.
