So, we’re going to take two centimeters and divide it by eight meters. Now, we need to simplify but remember make sure you have a number one in the numerator or the denominator. So, we need to have a one in the numerator and the denominator. So, we need to keep in mind that there needs to be a number one in either the numerator or the denominator. So now when we simplify, we get 2/8 can go to 1/4 and that will be one centimeter to four meters. So, the scale is 1cm=4m, so scale for this problem is 1cm=4m.
