First, you need to unlock your touch screen by pressing the menu key and then pressing and holding onto the padlock on the screen. Scroll across and select the market widgets. When you first open the application store, you will be required to create a Google login or you can use your existing Google accounts. It will take you less than a minute to sign up.
Provide your details in the designated areas. Don’t forget, you can also use your full QWERTY keyboard for speedier typing. Once complete, tap next and the device will begin to verify that your username is available. You’ll also be required to create a password. The password meter would inform you of how secure that is. Once complete, select next. Now, provide your “I’ve forgotten my password security question and answer”. Once completed, select next. Now, make sure that you have read through your terms and conditions and select I agree to continue.
One of the final steps is to enter the anti-spam text in the box provided. Once complete, select next. Now, agree to the terms of the service and you’re ready to go. Market is your android smartphone’s app store which is filled with over 20,000 apps with many of them being free. To download in that, tap it, then select the install button at the bottom of the screen. You’ll see information about the application including its cost and its ratings by other users in the app store. Your android smartphone would always tell you about what information or functionality will be available to this application. In most cases, this is okay and you can select okay at the bottom of the screen to begin installation. Once you’ve selected okay, the application would download in the background. On your status part at the top of the screen, you’ll see the following icon. Drag your status bar down as shown and you’ll see the download status of your new app.
Once it’s complete, tap it to open it and begin enjoying the endless world of fun. By reentering the application, you can also rate that which informs other market users whether the app is worth downloading or not. Your newly downloaded application can be found within your main menu, and the other great thing is your android smartphone menu is all in alphabetical order making it much easier for you to find your desired app.
