Submissions 101, the Scorpion Crunch. This was shown to me by a Pedro Sauer student about five years ago. It doesn't work on every one. But if you do get it, it puts a tremendous amount of pressure on the ribs. You have your partner in guard, what you are going to do is, you're going to pull him down and you're going to lift your legs up towards your head.
Then you can take your arms and you're going to reach behind your knees. When you do that, you "S" grip and then you extend your legs towards the ceiling. Maybe get the crush on the ribs.
Change to this angle. So I am here, I'll test it out. Usually a good time to do this, say he is trying to stack you, and you comes up on both legs and this is what's happening, your legs are moving up. What I will do is, I'll just pull him down, and reach behind. This is usually what I try out, holding tight and squeezing.
Again, this doesn't work on everyone; some people can power through it, but if you are not ready for it, it can take you a really, really sick. There has been a couple of instances for people doing grappling and they has been thrown on and guy actually throw up from that. So you got to be pretty careful.
We'll just do one more angle. So, again, it works best when you are here. He stacks you, my legs come up. I reach behind, I cross them, and lift up and squeeze. A Scorpion Crunch.
