Submission 101. I am going to demonstrate how to get the arm bar from the back control. I have my hooks in, my arm around, kind of a underhook here, it might be here as well. So what Dan is thinking is taking a choke. A lot of people think, got to defend, got to defend. What I am going to do is I am actually going to attack his arm instead. He is so concerned about the choke, he is not really concerned about the new transitioning.
So I am in here, and here, what I am going to do is simultaneous moves. So I am going to shift out and I am going to be pulling this out. So I am here. As I do that, my leg will start to swing out. So I come out, push over his head, down thumb up, and raise the hips.
So I am here, I have got control underneath, I will start flaring this out, this arms comes out, pushing his head, and transferring over his face, thumb up, raising my hips. Here, so have it, knees together, thumb up, front foot. It's a great move to get because like I said, most people working that choke defense, holding it tight and sometimes they neglect the arm, and that's when you can go for the actual arm bar.
