Hi, my name is J.D. Streett special effects coordinator of Jericho. Tonight we are going to do a napalm run, it is going to be hot, it is going to be loud, and it is going to be a lot of fun, at about a 150 ft. of gasoline and depth core plus 150 gallons of gas. It is all going to go off in a fraction of a second making a big wall of fire. That is about 150, 170 ft. long of about 30 to 40 ft. tall all in an instant.
What we have here is timer boxes where we use to sequence the explosion so that we can get a nice consistent timing. This one makes a nice and smooth transition that looks like one growing fire. Accurate it is a 150 second. See these eyebrows? You will not see them in 10 minutes.
We are putting our explosives in our gas in a trench so it fires it up, we will have very minimal fire afterwards. It will all be right around the trench. Everything will be with in our fall out zone in the outside. We are going to keep people with a minimum of 200 feet away. We have wet down the hillsides, we put a thousands of gallons of water to put the shrub down. We cut all the grass within 60 to 80 feet were we at. We are going to shot it. This could be a lot of fun. Let me go and put the fire out afterwards.
Nice big fire, nice big boom, the wind was cooperative and it behaves and it looks great.
