How to Disable "New App Installed" Notification - Windows
Welcome to Techzilla Daily. I’m Veronica Belmont. One of XP’s nifty feature sis the ability to show you newly installed programs in the start menu. However, more often than not, you know you just install the application, that’s more of a hassle than it’s helpful to those little modifications. Luckily, it’s easy enough to fix that. Just right click the start button and select properties. Then, click customize, then under the advanced tab, just uncheck the box that says highlight newly installed programs. So, if you're feeling like this XP notification is more annoying than helpful, this little yip should set you mind at ease.
