Dr. Brian Class: The reason why we’re so toxic, it has a lot to do with our environment. They say that the average American is actually exposed to over a hundred toxins per day. Our environment accumulates 80,000 chemicals and the majority of it is actually in our food. There’s 3000 chemicals that are actually added to our standard American Diet and 10000 are used in our food processing, packaging and storing. So a lot of it just comes from what we’re doing to our bodies.

Some of the top toxic things that are in your home include things such as your household cleaners. A lot own from your oven cleaners to your carpet and flooring that you use as well your laundry detergent, place the major factor because anything with fragrances and dyes and it can actually caused toxicity in the body.

When we look at things such as your personal care products that place a major factor for women their make up, hair dye their shampoos, conditioners and all the things such as deodorants and the lotions that you put on your skin.

The reason why is because your skin is the most permeable substance that you have and so when you’re using that, that place a major factor and how to absorb into your body. Some of the things that you can do to eliminates some of the toxicity that you’re getting on a daily basis include things such as your water supply. Getting your water tested I’m only drinking purified water and that water out of the tap because that contains a lot of fluoride, chlorine, other toxic chemicals.

Another thing is plastics, a lot of us use plastics that we drink and you want to make sure that you’re drinking out of a well known plastic such as like analogy in model instead of our constant water bowls that we’re using because studies have shown once those warm up the actual chemical in there called BPA leeches off of the plastic and goes into your water so you’re actually getting a carcinogenic compound when you’re drinking your relatively good water supply.

Another good thing is looking at your microwaves, a lot of us use microwaves on a daily basis. Russians have done a stay where they literally banned the microwaves in the entire nation. The reason why is because so many chemicals are leeched off of your foods a lot of us cooked in our plastics when we use our microwaves, the combination, the heat and the plastic it actually leeches off into your food and whenever you use a microwave, it’s radiation on your good food. So it literally denaturizes some of your good fruits and vegetables that you’re putting in the microwave.

The best ways to detoxify first of are really just to eliminate as many toxins as you can so we’re looking on our household environment going to more natural using more natural cleaning products, using air purifiers whenever possible, eliminating things like common commercial air fresheners, laundry detergents that we’re using going more natural on that sense.

When we look at other ways to detoxify we have to look at what we’re putting in our bodies, when we look at foods that have additives, preservatives, food colorings or meats such as chicken and beef that are raised with antibiotics and hormones we want to go as natural in free range as possible. So looking into our organic products, that’s a very good way to detoxify your body.
