How to Design and Build a Wine Rack
Host: Hey, Clean House fans! Here is a helpful tips from Go-To-Guy, Matt Iseman.
Matthew, I have quite a few wine bottles at home and I do not really have the little jazzy refrigerator because I like my stuff to kind of be out on display and maybe you can hook me up.
Matt Iseman: Absolutely. Well, the thing I like is to spend my money on booze not on storing them. So, what you are going to do is you’re going to put together a wine rack yourself. If you are feeling handy, you can do it in just a few hours. Start out with just 1x4 pieces of wood and you can start out with building the cabinet first then you install the shelves.
Now, the trick to storing the wine bottles, you take a drill with a drumbeat. It is a bout three inches for the back of the bottle and then for the neck we use a smaller one about an inch and a half. Drill the holes in, cut the pieces in half all of the sudden now, you’ve got a place to hold your wine bottles now. My real trick is up top. What those are for the glass holders is I took the transition piece for a hard wood floors where the hard wood floors meet, turn it upside down, nail it and paint it and all of a sudden you are going to place three glasses too.
Host: Can I say thank you in advanced for doing the same thing for me?
