Hi, I am Lola from Lola Cookies and Treats in Leesburg, Virginia, and we've just finishing making our pecan bars. After you put the caramel top on the bars, they should go in the refrigerator with tin foil for top for at least a couple of hours before slicing, just so that topping is nice and firm. Then, you can take them out, cut them into bars. I like to cut mine into little squares like this or you can cut them into whatever shape you prefer. Either way they are gorgeous.
