How to Crochet Leaves Part 5/6

Okay, so we’re now heading back the other direction. People would say that I’m really shaky in my videos here. You know what, the truth is my camera is literally within five inches off my hands. So you know, when things are zoomed in like that, it gets really hard to be stabilized, I guess. I have no reason to be nervous like there’s nobody in front of me.

Okay, so I’m coming to the back pieces here. We want to put in two stitches into the one, hold it down. Okay, we want to put another two stitches into the next hole. One stitch into the end. Okay, and then you got to put two into the next hole and then two into the next hole. So you got that nice turning. And now, we’re going to continue single all the way. Now, we’re not going to go all the way to the end of the line. So now we’ve created—like you can see on the lead, we’ve created the first steps so now we’re going to create the second step that you see there. So you got one step which you’ve already done so now we’re creating the step here. So you guessed it, we’re going to leave three empty stitches at the edge of this line and turn around.

Okay, so let’s stop and let’s turn around, loop up one. We’ve already done that one because we’ve looped up, now we’re going to go to the next and we’re going to single stitch all the way back around again. That’s not a really complex pattern so you can sit on front of the TV and watch the TV and be good about it. So we’re coming to our turn. So we’re going to do this, we’re going to put on two into the same hole, two into the next hole, and then one into the edge, to the end piece. And now, two into the next hole, and two into the next hole for our turn. So we basically got our material now turned around. So we’re going to now leave the three empty on this side of the leaf to create that stepping. And I’m looking at the other side, make sure it’s balanced.

Okay, we’re going to turn our material and then go back the other direction.
