How to Crochet Baby Sneakers Part 4/13
So now, we are working on the sides and I just finished telling you that this particular pattern doesn’t have you do that particular line around the edge to make the sole and actual fact that was wrong. So what we are going to be doing is we are going to be going around this particular sole again and this is going to restart creating the sides and this is going check creating the material to bend up and start really starting to see thee sole take shape. So it is a single crochet so what we are going to do is that we are going to just chain one and then to the back loops only so if I pull the stitch it would sow you just like sole as takes focus.
Okay so you see how there is two loops there. Okay that is your one stitch. If I look, if I just go into the first one only, that’s the front loop and if I go into the one that is in behind, this is the back loop. So it is telling you to go single crochet into the back loops all the way around. So we have chained up and that we are going to single crochet into the back loops only. And this will create the line. It also helps the material bend upward and so this is the actual start of your sides and because we are at a single crocheting all the way around without adding or subtracting and then the stitches. It’s going to cost the material to bend upward towards you and what the side that you are actually seeing right now is the actual good side so it will be what you can see when the baby is wearing the shoe. But as we continue along it, it’s going to continue to bend up towards you and basically this side of it is the bad side. So in the end of this project, you have to turn this project inside right because you work because you have to turn inside out which is the bad side.
And I still want to maintain where the center point of the actual toe is. So when I get to the toe area, just like so this is the very next one. We are just going to pull with my marker. These are available for $2.00 for a package at a target or warmer store so I'm just going to put oil back in.
And if you are not happy was when the center point is turning, yo are going to always changes that marker if you want it to. But really examine your project before you decide to change something like that. So why am I working on a bigger shoe like what I make it bigger than what it should be? Reality is - I only have do once so I never do the second set so it can really give them away and the other one is that it’s harder to show it on video format. It’s the project; it’s in the real size. The stitches are a lot closer together and it’s harder to show you.
I had visions about to the shoe actually putting and like the few symbol on the side of them and then I would going to go through. So when we get to the very last piece, we are going to be doing a slip stitch and what this pattern is doing to is the tasking to then turn the pattern. So what’s going to be happening from this point on that was the very last one okay? You know if you look really carefully, you see that lie right there. So we want o loo where that line starts. So when we go to slip stitch, we are also catching. We are only going to slip it to the back loop only so that the line stays the same all the way around.
Okay, now it is actually saying that turn this chain one so we have just slip stitched it and now if there’s chain one and it says to turn and then turning basically just turn it like this. so this shoe is kindly different from the rest where that other shoes that you keep going in the circle is going on the circle going in the circles but this one is not going to be working that way. And I am checking where the center point is of that in the actual foot as well.
You know what? I'm just looking at it. I'm going to move the center point over because if I leave it over to there and then I'm measuring it, I'm going to end up with the shoe at the center point is going off in a wrong direction. And I am still looking at the back here. You see, I want that. I think I want that to finish right in the center point of the back of the heel or actually I know that because I've done these a lot of times. So I'm just pulling it through so I wanted to stop right into the separate point and now, it says chain one in turn. Okay so we just turned and so that goes into the next video.
