How to Crochet Baby Booty Soles Part 5/5
Okay so this is the last video then of doing the heel. Do you see how then if there’s a line that is going around and this is a - well, this is purposely done and it’s like you can really see it there. It allows you to fold the material a lot more easier when I have that line. That one is probably the clearest line of them all. You see that. And so we achieve that by crocheting in then what is called in the back hooks, the back loops sorry. And what is the back loop?
If you look at your crochet here, when you stick your needle in I'm not going to stick it in the real one but you can see that there are two strings one and two. Well, these are called loops so the one that is closest to this fiber here is the front loop and the one that is further away as the back loop. So in order to achieve this line, this side that we are actually crocheting around is actually going to be the visible side of the shoe. So in order to get the shoe to curl up, we need to then use the back hooks to make it fold on its own.
So going into the next stitch and instead of going into both stitches, you are just going to go into the back one only so you only are going to have one on there. And then pull your materia through in. so we are going to go and completely around this sole going in the back loops only. So when you follow that along, and you will start to see within a few stitches that that line is now starting to from. Using these back loops or the front loops and any crochet project, we really emphasize as the way that the project will look and some things like baby sweaters and hats by crocheting the front or back loops only can really make your hat turn from like blotted tattoo and it is a very, very exciting when you can do that for we are just going on the back loops only. And then we are to end that if you are following along if you want that at the very end. You are going to slip stitch as you get to the end.
And again, I am using some left over wool. I'm going to have to find a used fur or my leftover wool like a little ball like this. I have an idea to use it in illuminating to kindly yarn bar fit or something I don’t know.
Okay so the next one is the actual center point and so we are going to take the marker out going into the back loop only. When you are in the side just then put a back of the yarn marker back in. what I want to do is I want to look at the shoe now. This just really look at this shoe and determine where the actual front of the heel is and you will notice it turns in slightly like so. These baby booties are not left and right as persue is still the same so this have to like look up and though crochet marker was in the right hole. But if it’d not on the right hole, now is the time to fix that and just stick it is not the right hole because it really will make a difference in the steps ahead. So if you are doing like baby sneakers with the actual tongs, because if you don’t make that center point, the tong will be out of alignment.
Just put a crochet marker back in and we are just going to go continue along on the back loops only to the very end and if you are following along with me. So if that is the end, you are going to slip stitch so you are not adding any extra, you are not putting any doubles and any holes. It just looks simply a split of single stitching all the way around.
So this is going to be the start baby shoes. So if you want to do whatever you want to do to whatever from this point at this it is exactly how you get the shape of the baby shoe. Now, the bigger that shoe that you want, the bigger the needle. So in this case my needle might even too big but you can determine that with whatever you want to do. And then also the pattern that I was shared is to link with you. Also it gives you different sizes, and so if you want to do a bigger or smaller size just follows along toward this size of a needle and stitch that you want to do.
So this is where the crochet marker is. Now, you see the line is on this side here in the lines on the set but it’s not really in the back and that is because it is not complete it so you have to make sure you get the every last one to make that complete solid. The lines right there, see how it’s going to missing right there that’s because that is the last stitch. and at the very end, which is going to the next one and slip stitch so point at your both and put your crochet marker back in so that you can continue along with your project.
So that completes on how to make a baby’s sole. I don’t ever have promised these markers just putting over inch in just my angle. So there you go. So there is the perfect baby sole right there.
