How to Crochet Baby Booty Soles Part 4/5
On our very next stitch now, we are coming up to the next one. It will be two single crochets right directly in a row from each other. So let’s put two single crochets into the same hole and now we are going to work our way single crochet along every stitch for the most of this side again and we are going to stop and count it backward from the actual toe marker or the front of that shoe marker to determine where we need to expand again.
If you don’t expand, what happens is that it curls up because by not expanding these circles will continue and to do the exact same thing is that you end up with the stuff that’s pulling up. So let’s look where we need to go. Okay so that the heel according to my pattern will have one, so this one will have two. So looking at the heel, so this will have one and this one will have two, this one will have one and this one will have two. So I'm going to crochet two more into there. I think it might be too confusing.
So let’s count back. So if people that want to count back, so one two three and four so it’s the fourth one back we are going to put two double crochets back into the same hole. The next one would be just one and the next one will be two single crochets into the same whole. The next one will be one. Okay, I'm taking the crochet marker out. Okay so that the last one we just finished it of at one, so this will be a two, so one and two into the same hole. And then I'm going to put that crochet marker back into the one that I’ve said one, remember I said one and two? It will be the first one of the two that went into the same hole. Okay so that was two and then the next and it will be one. The next will be a two so put one and two. Okay the next one is a one and the final one is a two, so one and two. So you got a really good rotation on there and now every single one. And now, we will get one single all the way down.
Now, I have a demonstration here on YouTube on how to follow the shoes, exactly what I'm following on my screen right now. It’s actually been done on white board in order to help you explain why it’s so critical to follow the center lines of the baby shoes because it’s very possible and I've done this before where the top the heel or the top of the in step like you see here, it doesn’t match. And what happens is that you happen to put the shoe that is lap sided and I'm telling you it is so disheartening when you get to a certain point and you realized that you’ve done that.
So the one just before the marker point, we are going to put two single crochets into the same hole again. And then again this allows it to turn nicely so one and two. And so we are going to take the crochet marker out. In this case, it’s a coffee bean which I think is so cool. And what we are going to do is slip stitch so into the hole like so pulling it through and through and that’s a slip stitch. So you can really start seeing, it’s taking effect. So let’s put our crochet marker back in to signify to start the heel area and this will conclude this video here.
