How to Crochet Baby Booty Soles Part 3/5
Okay now, we are moving on to the next video here. And what we are going to do is, you’ve just seen where we slip stitch, now, what we are going to do which I keep saying all the time is that we are going to put two single crochets into the very next one. So the next stitch up is two, so this is one and the next one is into the same hole.
And now, we are going to single crochet for the majority of this particular run till we get to the foot area and there is s fly on my hands and it’s driving me nuts. Where is my Raid?
So I have gone about just over halfway and now, I am going to stop. The reason why is that we have to then now consider where we have to put the next double crochets in a row, where we actually have to double it up. So this acted as the number third one, so we have—and now I'm going to ask you now to count backward. So the next one over will be a single and this would be a double. So the double appears right this. Do you know how you started your five when you came around this? Your first double stitching in a row is going to be right on the very first one of that.
So let’s continue along until we get to the very first—our stitch where we actually put two stitches in one. Start where we put five stitches in one. Okay so there it is right there. Do you se that? It’s not there and it’s one more over. Do you see how this is starting at the five? Well, the very first one that’s right over the top is going to get two single crochets right in the same hole so that’s two. The next stitch is going to get one, okay removing the crochet marker out. Don’t put that too far, so we just did one. So the next one then we’ll get a two in a row in the same hole one, okay but before you do the second one, put that crochet marker back in, so you know where the center point is.
Okay so there’s the center point and then we are going to put—and we say we are going to put two in that one so let’s put the second one. And now, the next one is the single, so it’s just the next stitch is just one and then the next one which is the very last one of the five if we did it right, should have two single crochets into the same hole.
And now, we are going to work our way back to the foot heel area. As you can see, it is actually taking shape really nicely, so let’s just worked our way back. And the pattern for this kind of stuff is available online and I could ship for the link into where that if you just want to follow the soles and generally they are part of the main patterns of the cowboy boots, the baby high tops and the baby Mary Janes.
So as we get to the end, we are going to be putting it in on the very last one. We are going to put two single crochets into the same hole and that will be the one right before you get to your marker because there is the marker and there is the last one so we are going to put two single crochets into that one. And now, we are going to take the marker out, okay. Now, we are going to—it’s called the slip stitch so just stick it into the stitch pulling it through and through. And putting your crochet marker back in to signify the center point.
This is so critical; these crochet markers for this project. I can’t emphasize that enough. So now, you just gone away around and you can see that the front of the foot is really taking shape beautifully as you can see in behind the scenes.
