How to Crochet Baby Booty Soles Part 2/5
Okay so you now, you have just hold it and now you have to—I have on my screen so I'm going to be installing a little but I have on my screen an actual picture of the diagram as I just said before I am very much of a diagram kind of person.
What we need to do is now a single stitch into the second one from the hook. Okay if you see that, that’s the first one and that’s the second. So it’s a single stitch so just stick in your needle in, pulling your material through and through two. Now, for the next seven of these, we are going to do it. That was called the single crochet so we are going to single crochet the next seven in so just. So one, this is two three. It’s kind of hard when it’s so small. This is four five six and seven. So looking up at my sheet now, the next one now has to be a half double crochet. Okay so we have three stitches left which is exactly what we need. So that’s half double crochet okay so it just wrap in your needle around the material then going into the next stitch, just like so, pulling it through and now, pull through all three at one time.
And now into the next stitch, we are going to about two as those what we just did so two half double crochets into the next one so wrapping your material around the next stitch pull through and now pull through all three and put another one in that same stitch.
And now, we are on our very last stitch. So now what we are going to be doing is we are going to be if you look at the sample. We are going to start the rotation around the top and what we need to do is just going into the last stitch we need to put five in a row of half double crochets. But at the third one, just stop with me because we are going to put our crochet marker in, so wrapping in your needle around going into the last available stitch. So this is one, do it again the same hole two. Okay going into the same hole, this is three. Now I want you to put your crochet marker right into this top stitch that you just had so my crochet markers have been provided by fyrestormcreations.com and you can go there if you were interested on these really fantastic crochet markers and all we do is we just clip them on to the actual material.
So this will signify the actual center of that actual stitch. So three, so let’s go and now you have like the straggler here left over so what we want to do is burry that into there as well. So actually, I'm not going to burry it yet, so let’s half double crochet two more into that same hole to equal five , oh I think I just screw up but anyway. Keep going. So you got your five in there.
So now, remember how we put two crochets and then the half double crochets into this one stitch, we have to so the same now on the other side of that so wrapping your material around, see where the straggler is, just lay it over top your hook just like so and what’s going to happen is as you wrap your material it’s going to get stacked in between the stitch. Therefore hiding where your starting point is, so we’re putting two half double crochets there so wrapping your material around, going in. So the very next one if you remember we did one half double crochet by itself so we are doing one double crochet by itself so wrap your material around, putting your straggler down on top. And now what we are going to be doing is working a single crochet now for the remainder of the foot. I'm going to the heel. This is actually the toe that we are creating. So where at the toe of the actual booty is actually bigger as size wise than the actual heel. So we are just working our way back to every stitch and on the very last one, what we are going to do is we are going to put two single stitches in on the very last one. And you notice I am not really counting stitches. I am just telling you because if you have screwed up in any level what the baby booty, I find it very unforgiving when you miscount along one of the ways.
So I am going to be showing you easy ways to be able to make these baby boots without really having the watch your count too much. You have to watch them a little bit but not all.
So now, we are at our very last one so let’s put another single crochet into the same whole. And now, what’s it called is called a slip stitch so we are just going to stick it into the very next stitch available. Okay pulling it through and through ad this will be your actual heel. Okay that’s your actual heel center point as to where you put that slip stitch in. So we are going to put our crochet marker on that side as well so we know which one it is because over time you kind of—as this thing works at a little bit and you are going to find that you might miscount. So there is your crochet marker and this is video number two.
