How to Crochet Adult Size Sock Slippers Part 24/29
Line number 20 is about decreasing because you want this thing start grabbing above your ankle a little bit and give it a little bit attention and then the final two lines after that it’s going to pull it even tighter and so that it doesn’t want to fall off. So I’m calling it the four to one ratio, so let’s go up to chain two. And what we’re going to do is we’re going to do four half double crochets in a row, then on fifth and the sixth we’re going to combine them together in order to make two stitches into one stitch. So this is three, what we’re going to do here is that, this is four, half double then pull it through. What we’re going to do now is we’re going on to the fifth; so we’re going to go in, pull through, pull through two only. Leave this two on the hook, wrap it again go into the next stitch, pull through, and pull through two only.
Now you have three left on board, basically, this stitch and this stitch then become one stitch. See that, how they become one at the very top. So let’s go again, we’re going to go four into a row; four half double crochets in a row. That’s two, this is number four already. Okay then this is the fifth one, so we’re going to stick our needle in; pull through, pull through two only. Keep it on the needle, wrap it again going into the next stitch; pull through and pull through two only. Now you have three and pull through all three and that will combine the two stitches together into one. Did you see that? Going again, let’s get four in a row again; so one. I’m starting back at one again. So that’s one, two, three and that’s going to be the fourth. The next one we’re going to go in, pull through. This is the fifth one so we’re going to pull through only two, leave it on the hook, wrap it again; go into the very next stitch. Pull through, pull through only two and now pull through all three sets. So that makes the two into one.
So going on to the next one, we’re going to do four again in a row; one and you keep doing this until you get in to the end of your line. Okay this is the fourth one, so after this one we’re going to do our combinations again. So going in, pull through, pull through only two. Go to the next one; pull through, pull through only two and now pull through all three sets. Okay, let’s go to that. Put four more in a row again. So one, this is number four already. We’re going to go in, pull through, pull through only two and now pull through all three sets. We’re coming back around. So we’ve got one more stitch going that we slip it and this is the end of row number 20. So we’re slipping here, I can see you’re really start seeing this take in shape.
