How to Crochet Adult Size Sock Slippers Part 21/29
We’re going to line number 18 now and what we’re going to do is we’re going to repeat exactly what we did on the last round. So I start it off with one single, so you see half double crochet right there. See you can put a half double crochet right above it. What you did on the last line is exactly what you’re going to do on this line. So you just got to look where it changes and you can see that it changes the pattern. So then once we did the half double crochet then we moved on to what the double crochet, so this one is a double crochet so we’re going to go in, pull through to two and through two. And remember we have six of these in a row so you can count on that we did that properly.
So now what we had here just second look, we did half double crochet here; so we only did five there so we did one more double crochet. Now you can start to see it gets really big there, so those are the triple crochet, wrap twice; stick it in, pull through two, pull through two and two. Wrap twice going into the next. And this line then completes the heel area and then it gets pretty simple up until you get to the top of the sock where we’re going to do some cording for two rounds, one and two. Now I think the video’s going to cut over me in just a few seconds, so it just keep going in matching the rest of this line to what you see on the last line and this we’ll be the last one of the triple crochets.
Now we’re going back to double crochet. So the double crochet is two and two, if you remember. Again looking at the line underneath it and looking through when it changes back to a half double crochet, it’s pretty obvious. You can see it there, its right there this half double. See how it jumps there to the half? So I’m going to go back to the half formation again for the remainder of this line just like we did in the last line. And keep dropping one of the yarns. I’m going to hope this video cuts out just keep going until the end of the lines and then slip stitch it. And I will empty my camera, recharge my battery and we’ll keep you on going because I’m out of films space that’s my problem as tutorials longer than normal.
And looking for where this slip stitch is and it looks; you know what I just where I should slip stitch it. Yes, see there its right there. So I should have slip stitched that on the end instead of going that one extra. So just taking your needle and pulling it through and through. And that was line number 18.
